About Me
My name is Ali Blazquez.

My Story

I'm from Barcelona, Spain, beautiful country! I grew up there and studied Psychology at the Autonomus University of Barcelona. During my college years I felt a deep call to give my life for the Kingdom of God in a radical way, but sadly, there's not a culture of lay mission in Spain (there's not youth ministers or missionary organizations like Damascus, NET...).

I heard about missions in the US for lay young adults, and I decided to give one year of my life as a missionary in a different country with a different language and culture. God turned that year into six straight years of mission, during which I got to serve with NET Ministries for a year, then do the two year missionary program at Damascus and now I'm on the Damascus Missionary Staff. I travelled all over the country with the Damascus National Team for two years, and now I am working as the National Team Consultor, assessing the coordination and leadership of the team as they keep traveling around the nation.

My dream is to see revival in Spain: to see communities of missionary disciples, to see a church that believes in her mission and supports full time missionaries there. I pray that all that I'm growing and learning during this years of mission with Damascus will be imparted into my country, and all over the world.

Thank you for being here and for your own missionary heart. Will you join me in the mission the Lord has placed in my life? Your yes helps my yes to have a bigger impact! Thank you for your prayers and your generosity.

God Bless you!

Ali
