I am from Plainfield, Illinois, about forty minutes away from Chicago. I currently attend Ohio State University as a second-year studying Finance and am active with our on-campus ministry in an organization called Saint Paul's Outreach (SPO). Starting in freshman year, through SPO, I have learned what it means to be a great Christian man who strives after the heart of Jesus through brotherhood and a strong community. Something that struck me was an authentic, genuine, and selfless love ever-present in all the people I met in the Catholic community at Ohio State. I desired to know what they had that I did not, and that was the Holy Spirit alive in them. One of the reasons I worked as a summer missionary in 2023 was to be a witness of this love I had never been aware of for all the young men and women who may not have experienced the love of Jesus in a tangible way before. My heart breaks for the people on campus and all over who do not know the "more" of life, that the Catholic faith is anything but boring.
