About Me
My name is Angelina Armstrong.

My Story

I am from Tecumseh, Michigan. I was home-schooled through high school, and attended multiple youth groups, through which I discovered Damascus. In both my Junior and Senior year of high school, I attended a conference called "Mission" that was run by Damascus.

I had been on retreats and conferences before-- but nowhere else had I ever been left with such an impact on my life. These missionaries were so open to God's gifts, that He moved through them, transforming their hearts, healing their souls- and not just the missionaries, but the kids. I remember hearing countless testimonies from kids just like me-- saying they've come back to the faith, they've had a physical healing, they found meaning, hope, they wanted to go on mission-- and it gave me chills. I myself was forever changed and saw it transforming others, and now I'm choosing to become a summer missionary to spread the good news even further at CYSC.

Navigating life as a middle/high-schooler is not an easy task. Damascus' mission, and the overall message of Catholicism needs to be spread. The young people need to learn of God's infinite love for them. We live in a world where these kids are lost, looking for the truth.

Would you support me as a summer missionary and join the adventure?

Thank you for your consideration, and may God bless you.
