My Story

Hi! Thank you so much for your spiritual support on this journey and your support to Damascus!

I am from Mobile, Alabama! I have two sisters and an amazing Mom and Dad whom my sister Morgan termed Linda and Brad, so please address them with these titles if you ever meet them. I did not grow up around dirt roads and country, but in a city full of Catholic parishes (praise the Lord!!!) and inundated with SEC football frenzy. Currently, I am a freshman at Franciscan University of Steubenville (go Barons!),, majoring in Mathematics and Theology.

The Lord’s intercession has solely gotten me to where I am today. Blessed with a family that attends daily Mass together and prays the family rosary daily, a high school where I blossomed academically and spiritually, and a great perpetual adoration chapel nearby, I am very grateful for the life the Lord has given me. Now at Franciscan, my desire and love for the Lord has continued to grow slowly, thirsting for a deeper spousal intimacy with Our Lord and for a life completely surrounding Him.

I am excited to be able to go on mission at Damascus this summer to intercede for the campers in whatever way I can, whether through prayers or a face pointing to the Father’s love. However, this mission to prepare the way for encounter is greatly dependent upon your prayers and your aid. Whether it’s through financial support or a spiritual bouquet (a single Hail Mary makes a great difference), I ask for your intercession as we journey toward a generation set on fire for Christ.

Pax et Amor,

Andy Anderson
