My Story

Hello and thank you for joining me on this crazy adventure God is calling me to this summer! I grew up in a small suburb of Chicago, Westmont, IL, the youngest of five kids. After being homeschooled for a little while I attended our parish’s middle school, followed by a small Catholic high school. As I grew up I was taught the importance of adoration and a personal relationship with God. This summer I will be serving with Damascus on program staff at the Great Lakes camp in Brighton, MI where I will get to help teach middle and high schoolers about God, how to pray, and how He desires a relationship with each of us. I have felt a strong desire to help bring my generation back to the church for a long time now, to teach kids and teenagers about God’s enormous love for us all, and how close God desires to be to us, and to share the good that He has done in my life. I hope to inspire my generation to chase after a deeper love and realize that this life is really one big adventure. I can’t do this alone, we are all called to be on mission in our own way, so I thank you for helping me be able to spend a summer bringing people closer to Christ.
