Hello and thank you for considering contributing to the work the Lord is doing here at Damascus.
I grew up in Hilliard Ohio in a Catholic family and have fallen in love with the faith over the past few years after a huge conversion. I am currently at Franciscan University studying Theology. I am now going to Damascus, serving my second summer on Program staff.
I have seen the Lord do so many beautiful things at Damascus and through Damascus, not just in others' lives but in my own as well. I was a camper for a short time and knew that I had to be a part of this mission, as I fell in love with the genuine worship and love everyone had for Jesus. The mission of Damascus is so focused on the youth as the Church. The current society is not living up to the example that Christ has given us to live by, and we need to live as witnesses to Christ. I have seen so much revival in my time at Damascus with kids coming in dreading the week and daily mass, then coming out on fire for Jesus. Serving others in love is our daily bread and what we are called to do as a Church, and I look forward to seeing the amazing things God has in store for this summer.
I rejoice in seeing the salvation of the Church and the youth and would love for you to join me on this journey as we seek to bring all closer to the Kingdom of God.
