Hello!! My name is Victoria Cordova and I am a first time summer missionary on the counseling staff in Ohio!
I am from Manvel, Texas and currently attend Texas A&M as an engineering major! I am so excited to embark on the journey Jesus has for me this summer! Growing up, I did all the Catholic things: I altar served, attended daily mass in the summer, prayed the rosary every night, but I just went through the motions, doing it out of obedience for my parents. My freshman year of high school was when I really started to take my faith seriously and since then, Jesus has been inviting me to a more intimate relationship with Him every day!
In my home parish, I have seen so many people my age leave the church or question the relevance of their faith. Jesus thirsts for the love of His beloved - and I can't wait to serve as His instrument this summer in guiding the youth to accept the immense love He has for each of them.
