I grew up in Buffalo, Minnesota, and I went to the University of Mary for Theology, Catholic Studies, and Psychology.
I never went to CYSC myself growing up because I didn't know about Damascus then, but I did eventually learn about in college! I went to my first Empower Conference in 2022, and those four days changed my life and taught me so much. The Lord has continually taught me more about the truth of who He is as my Father and who I am as His daughter over the past few years, and all that entails. The Lord has also opened my eyes to the great needs of young people today, including myself and what I needed as a young high school student. They need to be truly seen and heard. They need to be able to truly and freely encounter Jesus and the Father.
This is why I am choosing to give my time to this mission, I want young people to truly live in the freedom that they were made for.
